The George Grant Chapter of Trout Unlimited is pursuing Requests for Proposal (RFP) from area state and federal agencies, watershed committees and other resource organizations seeking funds not to exceed $5000 for water-related resource and recreation projects within the geographic area of GGTU as described below. We have committed to funding projects in the amount up to $20,000 for the last budget year: September 2014-August 2015; and again for September 2015-August 2016.
The maximum grant amount will be $5,000 per project, with a 1:1 match required. Preference will be given to projects requesting less than the maximum grant and to projects that have higher matching rates. The Grantee will be required to recognize GGTU in all project materials and recognize GGTU on any post-project signage at the project location.
GGTU commits to funding up to $20,000 for budget year 2015-2016 with an application deadline of January 6, 2016 and an award date of February 15, 2016.
The funds can be expended anywhere within the geographic area of GGTU, which is basically the Jefferson River on the east, south along the Madison/Beaverhead River Divide to the Montana/Idaho state-line, then following the state border to Lost Trail Pass, then along the Continental Divide through the Anaconda Mountain Range to Moose Lake, then north of Georgetown Lake to Philipsburg and Drummond, then along the eastern side of the Clark Fork River to Butte then back east to Three Forks.
Please submit your request by January 6, 2016 to: George Grant TU, PO Box 563, Butte, MT 59703 or by email using the form below.
